Maybe it was freak storm and it threw the apples in another area of the country there. Maybe God is remind us all that there are still hungry people in the world.

Hi Doggirl3 Quite possibly a freak storm although I cannot find one reported. The main question though, is where did the apples come from. The apple season is long gone so there should be no more apples on the trees in the orchards although there are maybe a couple of varieties that continue to grow into winter months.

that's strange, i also heard that once it rained frogs in france!!

I hate hearing "experts" say it was a tornado that picked up what ever happens to raining down anywhere. In this specific incident, I find it difficult to believe that a tornado picked up ONLY apples from the orchard and not just apples but small green apples and no leaves, branches, dirt, bugs, animals, or anything else that happens to be around.
