UK police called over ghost sightings

Peterborough police have been alerted numerous times over the years following sightings of ghosts.
A newspaper Freedom of Information request has revealed a startling number of reports about paranormal goings on. In September 2009 one local called the police to report a burglary by a ghost, when officers arrived they searched the house but found nothing. In November of that same year a 'ghost child' was reported for causing a disturbance in a field. The following year, another police report detailed how officers were called to a home in which a child had reported a 'ghost' trying to break in to his bedroom window.Police in Peterborough have been called on to act as ghost busters by victims who feel they may have been targeted by thieves and yobs from beyond the grave.
