Mysterious 'winged' structure discovered

A new structure has been discovered in England that has no typical Roman era building characteristics.
Archaeologists have discovered a Roman era structure in the Norfolk area of England that has no known parallels to any other buildings from that same time period. "Generally speaking, [during] the Roman Empire people built within a fixed repertoire of architectural forms," said professor William Bowden. "What they were trying to achieve by using this design is really very difficult to say."A recently discovered mysterious "winged" structure in England, which in the Roman period may have been used as a temple, presents a puzzle for archaeologists, who say the building has no known parallels.
