Calls from psychics offering clues about the Madeleine McCann case are to be investigated by police.
Leaving no stone unturned, authorities are following up on information offered by psychics in their efforts to locate youngster Madeleine McCann who went missing in 2007 while on holiday with her family in Portugal. Over 100 phone calls were made to Crimestoppers during the investigation from psychics and other people claiming to have supernatural knowledge of her whereabouts.
"We can confirm we are in close dialogue with Crimestoppers to ensure that all material in their possession - from any source - is shared with us," said a police spokesman.
It is understood around 100 phone calls were made to the phone hotline soon after Madeleine was reported missing from those claiming supernatural knowledge of her whereabouts.
