An investigation is underway after paramedics wrongly assumed an accident victim had died at the scene.
30-year-old Daniel Huf had become trapped upside-down in his car outside Melbourne in April, paramedics worked on him for some time before eventually pronouncing him dead. His body was left in the wreckage for up to an hour as the police conducted an investigation of the crash, but when they went to move his remains they discovered he still had a faint pulse.
Incredibly, Daniel not only survived but went on to make a full recovery. "We know that it is a miracle that Daniel can walk, read, speak some recognisable words, write logical messages and recognise his visitors," said his father.
A man pronounced dead following a car crash by Australian paramedics who then left the scene has been discharged from hospital after making a remarkable recovery, a report said Friday.
