Genetic evidence of human 'sister' species?

Researchers believe they have uncovered DNA evidence of an unknown sister species of human.
The discovery was made by scientists analyzing the DNA of hunter-gatherers in Cameroon and Tanzania, what they found was that 2% of their DNA appeared to have come from an unknown species of hominid that would have split from modern humans over one million years ago. Interbreeding between modern humans and other human species has been known to happen but this is the first time that a human sister species has been discovered entirely through investigating DNA."The evidence for ancient interbreeding is surprisingly convincing," said biologist Richard Green. Expeditions to Africa may have brought back evidence of a hitherto unknown branch in the human family tree. But this time the evidence wasn’t unearthed by digging in the dirt. It was found in the DNA of hunter-gatherer people living in Cameroon and Tanzania.
