Is the Baltic Sea anomaly a glacial deposit ?

Divers investigating the scene have brought back samples of the rocks which have since been studied for clues in an effort to get to the bottom of the mystery.

"What has been generously ignored by the Ocean-X team is that most of the samples they have brought up from the sea bottom are granites and gneisses and sandstones," geology professor Volker Brüchert wrote in an email.
