Veterinarian Melba S. Ketchum believes it does after a 5 year study using over 100 alleged DNA samples
Working as part of Texas-based firm DNA Diagnostics, Ketchum and her team have concluded that Bigfoot not only exists but that it is a human relative that developed 15,000 years ago from cross breeding between humans and another species of primate. The claim is undoubtedly difficult to accept at face value, however the team is comprised of experts in several fields and Ketchum herself has 30 years experience of forensic and genetic research under her belt.
"They're not any of the large apes - they branch off as a separate lineage," she said in an interview. "My personal theory is that it probably branched off and evolved in parallel with the rest of the primate lineage." The claims have been met with a considerable degree of skepticism however, it will likely take several more independent studies to corroborate Ketchum's findings before the scientific community is likely to take them seriously.[!gad]Working as part of Texas-based firm DNA Diagnostics, Ketchum and her team have concluded that Bigfoot not only exists but that it is a human relative that developed 15,000 years ago from cross breeding between humans and another species of primate. Bigfoot is real. At least that's what veterinarian Melba S. Ketchum claims after a five-year study of more than 100 DNA samples that she believes comes from the elusive hairy beast.
