Mystery light forms circle of fire

Authorities in Australia have been left baffled following the formation of a mysterious circle of fire.
The incident took place in Tasmania where fire and police crews were alerted by calls from concerned residents who reported witnessing a strange shaft of light beaming down from the sky and setting a circular patch of grass on fire. Firefighters were soon on the scene and had no difficulty in putting out the blaze, however the exact nature of what happened remains something of a mystery."Once we put the fire out, we kind of walked through the fire and tried to find something," said Tasmania Fire Service officer Scott Vinen. "We thought a flare or something may have landed there, but we couldn't find any cause."
Tasmanian police and firefighters are unable to explain the source of a beam of light which reportedly fell from the sky and formed a circle of fire in a Hobart suburb.
