Loch Ness celebrates 80 years of Nessie

Since then the Scottish lake has become home to one of the world's best known cryptozoological mysteries, bringing in thousands of tourists every year. To celebrate the occasion, a group of monster buffs will take a boat out on to the loch and raise a glass of whiskey in tribute to the first sighting.

Among those celebrating will be Adrian Shine, leader of the Loch Ness Research Project.
