An airliner in China was forced to land after being damaged in a mid-air impact with an unknown object.
The Air China Boeing 757 sustained damage to its front cone which included a large dent and prominent scratches after colliding with the object at a height of 26,000 feet. The plane had been flying from Chengdu to Guangzhou when the incident forced it to make an emergency landing because the pilot had reported difficulty controlling the aircraft following the impact.
Investigators have ruled out a bird strike due to the lack of blood and feathers, leading to speculation that the plane collided with a UFO. Former MoD UFO researcher Nick Pope has suggested that even if the investigation does reveal indications that something unusual hit the plane, the Chinese government is highly unlikely to release any details about it.
