Man killed by cow falling through his ceiling

Image Credit: sxc.hu The bizarre accident took place in the town of Caratinga, home to Joao Maria de Souza whose house was situated next to a hillside on which several cows were grazing. When one of the bovines stepped on to the corrugated roof of the house the structure gave way, dropping the cow right on to where the unsuspecting farmer was sleeping. He was taken to hospital but his injuries were too severe and he died the next day. His wife, who had been sleeping next to him, narrowly escaped unscathed.

According to local news reports this is the third such incident to happen within the last few years.
