Human-like flying creature sighted in Chile

A strange report has emerged from Chile this week detailing sightings of a peculiar winged creature.
The report focuses on the testimony of a young man who witnessed a mysterious animal flying between two trees near Bustamante Park in Santiago de Chile. It was described as measuring up to two meters in height with a body shape that resembled that of a manta ray.

While the man's account of the sighting was initially met with skepticism, soon afterwards several other witnesses came forward to claim that they too had seen something strange that seemed to resemble what he had described.

One woman stated that she'd also seen a "flying manta ray" that was remarkably human-like. Another witness, who told of his encounter in an e-mail, claimed that he had even observed the entity feasting on something.

"My wife and I saw this creature in one of the towers of the San Francisco church in Santa Isabel, and it was eating something similar to a dog," he wrote. "I think that if you inspect this tower you will find its remains. Unfortunately, I have no evidence to give you beyond my wife's report and my own."

There's little to indicate that these reports are being taken seriously by authorities however stories of "winged men" are not unheard of in the region. Journalist Osvaldo Murray wrote about similar accounts in the 1980s in his book entitled "Los Seres de Luz" which means "The Beings of Light."

I love bats. Too bad people tend not to like them. They're so cool and cute. Anyways, this story doesn't give us a lot to work with. Just a basic report with not a whole bunch of details and no pictures/videos. We can only speculate about what this guy saw and our speculation is limited by the little details we're given. It doesn't give a lot for discussion. I think bat or some known creature.

No, no, it's a giant lizard-bird driven to ground by solar flux, the phase of the moon and the scent of Cadbury's chocolate.

Hmm, I posted this 4 days ago post 45 here http://www.unexplain...ic=255640&st=30 It first appeared, at least in 2012 Now the first pic is a fake, or a perspective illusion at best, so a known hoax... and again it was Chile, perhaps the latest story is a variation of the former? In the photo with the soldiers the bat appears to have a cigarette in its mouth. The sort of thing someone would do as a 'joke'. But that along with the knife show that it is a trick perspective photo and the bad is just normal sized.
