Chris Mellon has claimed that he obtained the three leaked Pentagon videos of the famous 'Tic-Tac' UFO.
Speaking to James Fox - director of new UFO documentary 'The Phenomenon' - Mellon, who is the former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, maintains that he was responsible for obtaining the videos which were later published by the New York Times.
According to Mellon, who is a member of Tom DeLonge's To the Stars Academy, he had met with an unidentified individual in the parking lot of the Pentagon who had handed him a package containing the three videos.
"I received the videos, the now famous videos in the Pentagon parking lot from a Defense Department official," he said. "I still have the packaging."
"This is a case where somebody bent the rules a little bit, and they did so for the larger good and we're absolutely all better off because of it."
Exactly who it was that had allegedly handed him the footage remains a mystery, as does the precise motivation for a Pentagon insider to so readily provide such sensitive video evidence.
The rest, as they say, is history, with the videos becoming headline news and the UFO phenomenon in general gaining renewed interest across the world.
The Pentagon even came out to confirm that the footage was genuine after it was published.
You can check out Mellon's interview in a clip from The Phenomenon below.
Are they now saying that Luis Elizondo has lied from day 1? https://www.foxnews.com/science/mystery-over-top-secret-ufo-program-deepens So now we have a new story about how the chumps at TTSA got the videos. Â
For anyone not up with this debacle, Chris Mellon is "a private equity investor, advisor and shareholder for "To the Stars"" To The Stars is Tom Delonge's failing-to-make-money organisation which made a large number of claims on inception, and have thus far provided nothing unverified tales and mundane videos showing unidentified (but not unusual..) aircraft or birds/met balloons etc..
Weird, the way David fravor put it. The video somehow got leaked onto the internet a long time ago, first appearing on a site called strangeland. Then made its way onto YouTube, where people like Charlamane tha god saw it waaaay back.
