An ill-fated paranormal investigation at a notorious haunted hotspot saw one enthusiast end up in hospital.
According to reports, the unnamed 35-year-old woman had been participating in an unofficial investigation of the infamous Buffalo Central Terminal in New York when the accident happened.

Built during the 1920s, the terminal operated from 1929 to 1979 before being abandoned.

Today, it remains a popular destination for paranormal investigators and has been featured in TV shows such as Ghost Hunters due to its notoriously haunted reputation.
Its dilapidated nature however makes it somewhat dangerous to explore, as the unfortunate woman in this particular case found out when she fell 20ft through the roof of an old substation.

She was taken to hospital with multiple injuries and her condition currently remains unknown.

While the terminal does sometimes host organized tours and investigations, it is believed that in this case neither the woman nor her partner had permission to be there.

You can check out footage of an official event at the building below.
