As if a regular Hummer isn't big enough, the Hummer H1 X3 makes all other cars look like small models.
What do you do when even the Hummer H1 is too small for your needs ? You get a Hummer H1 X3, of course - a gargantuan version of the already notoriously large vehicle that has to be seen to be believed.
Measuring a ridiculous 6.6 meters in height and 14 meters in length, the X3 is one of the largest street-legal vehicles in the world and by far the largest Hummer in existence.
It is owned by Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan - one of the world's most eccentric car owners.
Textual descriptions of this mammoth car just don't do it justice - check out the photograph above or the video below, there are simply no words to describe how ludicrously huge this car is.
As you can imagine, manoeuvring such a beast is no easy task and nor is powering it - each of the four enormous wheels has its own dedicated industrial diesel engine.
There's also the small matter of road space - the X3 is so large that it takes up both sides of a regular two-lane carriageway, making it a rather impractical way to drive to the local supermarket.
All things considered, it's difficult to believe that this thing even exists at all.
Oh well, that's what happens when you speak multiple languages. The German word for "lobster" is "Hummer", so I thought this was about a giant crustacean...
