Meet Bobi - a 30-year-old Rafeiro do Alentejo who has been officially recognized as the oldest dog in the world.
One of the most common methods people use to calculate how old their dog is in human years is to multiply its age by 7 - so, for example, a 2-year-old dog would be 14 in human years.

30-year-old Bobi, on the other hand, who has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's oldest dog, would be an absolutely insane 210 years old in human years.

The record-breaking canine was born in Portugal and has spent his entire life living with the Costa family in the village of Conqueiros after narrowly escaping being put down as a puppy.
His age is all the more remarkable given that his breed typically only lives for up to 14 years.

It isn't exactly clear why he was managed to live for so long, but his owner attributes a combination of his free-roaming lifestyle, healthy eating and drinking lots of water as contributing factors.

Even so, age is finally starting to catch up to Bobi as he struggle to walk and has eyesight problems.

With any luck, though, he will live long enough to see his 31st birthday in just a few months' time.

Well its a common Portuguese name for dogs, and the breed is Portuguese, but I did not saw this anywhere in our media, but it's a dog

I don't see how it's possible either.  As a rule, the size of the dog plays into their lifespan as well and I've never heard of even a really small breed living past 20.

“healthy eating and drinking lots of water as contributing factors.” Beginning tomorrow, I’m switching from oatmeal to Alpo.

Not his time yet but he doesn't look older than 15 tbh. I have a chihuahua that is 20 this year but she looks it. Always been an outside dog except in the depths of Winter.
