Man claims 'mischievous child ghost' pushed shopping cart into his car

Bizarre footage has emerged showing the wayward cart seemingly making a beeline for the man's parked vehicle.
The incident, which occurred when 21-year-old Coby Todd left work at a supermarket outside Dallas, Texas recently, saw the shopping cart - which had been sitting stationary in the parking lot up until that point - suddenly turn around all on its own and careen straight into his car just as he was getting in.

What made the collision particularly weird was how the cart had just started moving all of a sudden and had rolled directly into his car while avoiding another car that was parked right next to him.

Footage captured on CCTV even shows the moment the incident happened.

"When I got in my car and shut the door, I realized the [cart] had hit it," said Todd.
"I thought someone had tossed it at me, but when I got out there was no one there, so I went inside to get the video footage."

Far from being the work of a mere gust of wind, however, Todd believes that the spirit of a young child who he had allegedly encountered during a paranormal investigation the day before was responsible.

"Maybe he was trying to play with me," he said.
