The Soviets allegedly made contact with extraterrestrials via remote viewing.
The US journalist and UFO investigator spent time in Soviet Russia to investigate its remote viewing experiments.
Back in the 1990s, Knapp, who is no stranger to investigating the strange and unusual, visited the Soviet Union to find out more about Russia's secretive remote viewing program.
During his visit, he met Lieutenant General Alexei Yurievich Savin who was apparently quite keen to make information about the endeavor public.
"He showed us some training films where they would take a Russian sailor, put him down in the bottom of a ship, and then ask him to identify where other naval assets were around it without being able to look out the window and see them," Knapp told the Weaponized
"And they were really accurate, incredibly accurate, at least in this film."
Perhaps the most remarkable thing of all, however, was his claim that the Russians had been using remote viewing to communicate with extraterrestrial entities far out in space.
"They're projecting their consciousness out into the cosmos and then they run into somebody else who has a conversation with them or shares information with them or shares images with them," he said.
"Some of them would write stuff down almost like channeling, or draw pictures."
To date, however, no conclusive evidence of these experiments has ever been disclosed.
