'Alien' shows up on doorbell camera in Compton, California

Credit: MjolnirPants / CC BY-SA 4.0 (adapted) The footage, which was captured outside the home of Jessica Ortiz in the early hours of the morning back on June 6th, has left a lot of people scratching their heads.

Right at the beginning of the clip you can see a strange bluish grey figure with an anomalously shaped head walking quickly across at the bottom right of the frame.

Then, a few seconds, later, you can hear a series of sounds coming from somewhere nearby.

The figure looks like a stereotypical alien or, as one person pointed out, Roger from American Dad.

"I have cameras in the back that are motion sensored and they didn't pick up anything," Ortiz told The Hidden Underbelly."My aunt lives next door and she said at about 12:45am she heard 3 loud bangs on the roof of her house WHICH IS WILD to me."

"She said she heard scratching sounds after the second bang and ran to her room and started praying."
