Creepy video shows ghostly vanishing face in a car in Argentina

Something strange and eerie was picked up on camera outside a hospital in Mendoza recently.
The clip, which has since gone viral, was recorded by @molina_javier_j - an employee (possibly a doctor) who works at the hospital and who had been on the night shift at the time of the incident.

The strangeness began when he noticed what appeared to be a face looking back at him from one of the front seats of a car that happened to be parked outside.

Grabbing his phone to record footage of what he was seeing, the man watched as the face seemed to move down and to the right and back again, as though someone was trying to duck out of sight.

Creeped out, he cautiously approached the vehicle only to discover that there was nobody inside.

When he went back to where he had been standing previously, however, the face re-appeared.
While it is reasonable to suggest that what he had filmed was some sort of strange optical illusion, how exactly was it being produced ? What was creating the illusion of a face and how was it moving ?

According to the original post on Instagram, the sighting had been preceded by a loud bang.

Could someone have been trying to pull a prank ?

You can check out the clip for yourself below.

One of the better cases of pareidolia I must say.

I bet it's a prank. The face appears only once he gets behind the glass door. That's a reflection in that door. The prankster is behind his back.

It's Alf from the planet Melmac.

I don’t see cats in the video - your theory checks out.

Could well be, definitely.

Indeed, the person would likely be standing behind and to the left of the cameraman. It seems the bright light at the top right corner of the exterior of the building is enabling the reflection off the building door based on the angle of incidence, which is why the cameraman isn't reflected. They're probably both in on the hoax.  https://www.meetoptics.com/assets/angle-of-incidence-CekJVGcO.svg

Yeah, and as both the glass and the car are parallel to each other that means the cameraman can move in all three dimensions without breaking the illusion. That's the perfect example of the Pepper's ghost effect.

My first questions would be; why was he recording what should have been an uninteresting event? Also: Is this his car? If not, opening the doors seems a little unusual. I do think hospitals are more paranormally active. If it was a reflection of a real person you'd think with his level of curiosity and with it repeating he would have figured it out himself. I've seen other faked videos from Argentina, but I don't know if it involves this same source. Very Preliminary PapaMeter Reading 40% Paranormal   25% Normal (reflection/pareidolia)       35% Hoax

Dumbest ghost fraud I've ever seen. Intelligence has dropped.
