Two berry pickers reported an unusual encounter while out in the wilderness in Nunavik, Quebec.
Maggie Cruikshank Qingalik and her friend had been collecting berries when they witnessed what they initially believed to be another person doing the same thing until they realised that the figure was covered in long dark hair. Observing the creature moving along the side of a hill they noted that it would walk upright and then sometimes on all-fours. It was estimated to be in the region of 10 to 15 feet in height, footprints later discovered at the scene were up to 40cm in length. "We weren't sure what it was first," said Qingalik. "It is not a human being, it was really tall, and kept coming towards our direction and we could tell it was not a human."
Cryptozoologist Loren Coleman has been studying Bigfoot for over 50 years. "It sounds like a traditional kind of sighting," he said. "I think the only thing I would wonder about would be the height of 10 feet with a footprint as large as you said. But that happens when people exaggerate."[!gad]Maggie Cruikshank Qingalik and her friend had been collecting berries when they witnessed what they initially believed to be another person doing the same thing until they realised that the figure was covered in long dark hair.
