Massive 10ft spider crab pays a visit to Britain

The largest ever crab seen in the UK this massive Japanese spider crab is so big its legs could straddle a car.
Amazingly the crab hasn't even finished growing and could reach up to 15ft in size and live for 100 years. Caught in the Pacific this monster of the deep will go on display at the National Sea Life Centre in Birmingham.With its enormous legs and lethal claws, this monster of the deep is already the biggest crab ever seen in Britain. But astonishingly, the arthropod - which measures a staggering 10ft from claw to claw - is still growing, and could live until it is 100.
