Long-lost footage showing Neil Armstrong descending on to the lunar surface is to be screened in Sydney.
The video was recorded at the time of the landings and was picked up in Australia while NASA was still scrambling for a signal however it went missing in the archives for several years until it was finally rediscovered.
Long-lost footage of Neil Armstrong descending the ladder of the Apollo 11 lunar module will be screened in public for the first time in Sydney next week, according to a prominent astronomer.

Going to the moon isn't as absurd as people want to think. Look up, it's right there! We've launched into space so many times. We've sent rovers to mars, etc. I've heard all the silly theories out there. Every time someone claims a hoax, there is an easy explaination for their results. Just ask Buzz Aldrin about the moon landings.

1. I don't think I have to back up a point of view. I am sure I made that pretty clear. I am entitled to have a point of view. I am do not feel compelled to justify it to faceless strangers. 2. Ignore is a delightful little function and I will use it daily, if I have to. People who are cruel or mean do not remain in my life long. They are totally and absolutely ignored. I oust people in my life who cause me consternation. That includes husbands. I don't seek to control others and they WILL NOT control me. Demanding a source is a form of controlling my time. If they get insistent, on ignore the... [More]

Of course you are entitled to a point of view, we all are. Even if you weren't entitled, you'd still have one, so entitlement is somewhat of a moot point. And you need not justify that point of view to anyone, strangers least of all, but it makes me wonder about why you would choose to voluntarily engage in an interactive forum such as this if holding that point of view alone was sufficient. You need not e... [More]

Just the latest example of how absurd the Apollo story is. Apparently, my uncle's 45 year old home movies are treated with more respect and care. What a joke! A total bs story to 'restore' footage - as in, we can now remove the evidence of the hoax. Yes, of course, a sure sign of desperation. You have failed miserably to prove, or even present a compelling argument for your case where it's actually applicable...in the Moon hoax thread (s), so you have to interject the same completely insubstantiable statements here. The fact is...it's not relevant. We're talking about further irrelevant TV res... [More]

Not only did we go we went six times and brought back evidence: moon rocks. Any scientist can order the rocks and study them, they have very different properties than earth rocks that could not have been faked. Furthermore:
