Harry Potter Quidditch becomes real sport

The game played on broomsticks in JK Rowling's novels has become a genuine real-life sport.
Unlike the game popularised by Harry Potter's adventures in Hogwarts however the muggle version is somewhat less impressive. Miles Millican takes on the role of the snitch for the George Washington University team which involves running around trying to avoid being caught. "Not having magic, we use a ball in a sock," he says. "I run around making sure it doesn't get caught, while seekers run around making sure it does."
Quidditch, the game popularised in the Harry Potter books, is now being played by students around the world. So just how do you turn a magical sport into something that can be played in real life?

So does this mean drugs would be tolerated in this sport? I figure it would take more than just imagination alone to make their brooms fly. LOL.

I doubt Quidditch will ever become a real sport. But it does look like a ridiculous and fun way to spend an afternoon.

Looks exhausting to me. I'd rather play a videogame of it

ROFL Ok that's cute. And it does look like it would be a fun way to kill an afternoon with friends being active. (Better then sitting on the couch collecting dust while playing a video game =P)
