Sheep gives birth to "puppy"

In a story from China this week a sheep in Shaanxi Province has allegedly given birth to a dog.
The new arrival has wool like a lamb but its other features are more like that of a dog. "I was herding the sheep, and saw a sheep licking her newborn lamb on the grassland," farmer Liu Naiying has said. "When I went up close to check on the lamb I was shocked because it looked so weird, like a cross between a sheep and a dog."
Vets say it’s impossible - but to Chinese farmer Liu Naiying his birth is a miracle. For Mr Liu insists one of his sheep has given birth to a dog. The 'puppy' has wool like a lamb but its mouth, nose, eyes, paws and tail look more like a dog's.

Dog has sex with sheep. Plain and simple. Biology had exception and error all the time. Yes, but even if a dog has sex with a sheep, it wouldn't produce a dog-sheep. What I'm about to say is really taboo, but there's also such a thing as bestiality, and you don't see human/sheep hybrids. It just can't happen. It's just a dog, seriously. Maybe a mix between a poodle and another breed.

72% of people recently polled by Gallup did not realize that there is no definition for gullible in the dictionary. (If you plan to go look up "Gullible" in the dictionary just to see if it is indeed defined, then you likely also think a dog can mate with a sheep and produce offspring)

I just fooled a co-worker with that one. Does she feel a bit sheepish

You must have heard of Buffalo Bill! Crocodile Dundee! Guy the Gorilla! Dame anna eagle and plenty of folk have come from Wales (Including me!)

Cute puppy. To those who are confused a species is defined by its ability to breed with others of the same species. Doggy and sheep are not the same species (by a long shot) therefore by definition cannot breed. Its just plain silly to suggest otherwise. Im with those who think the farmer thought awww that pup looks a bit sheepish wonder if i can get 15 mins of fame off this.

So what do we call it, a "Deep" or a "shog"?

haha so cute! I swear I noticed "hooves" on one of the pictures. I'd say... wait until it is older. I'd want to see pictures then.
