It has been eight years since the harrowing events of 9/11. Seven years since terrorists from the group known as al-Qaeda hijacked four planes, flew two of them into World Trade Centres One and Two (better known as the Twin Towers), flew another into the Pentagon and crashed the fourth in Shanksville Pennsylvania. 2,974 people were killed. Many more deaths were also caused by America’s decision to invade Afghanistan after the attacks.
But how much of this story makes sense? Really? If you look at the events themselves and the official explanation, as this three part article will, things don’t exactly add up. Let me first say that this article is in no way aimed to offend or hurt the memory of the people who died on 9/11 or their relations. If you are reading this and you have lost someone to 9/11 or the war in Afghanistan, you have my sympathies.
Before looking at the collapse of the Twin Towers, let’s look at the Pentagon collision. At 9: 37, American Airlines Flight 77 was smashed into the Pentagon, killing 125 people inside the building and the 64 people on the plane. After the attack, Hani Hanjour was named as the pilot and a memorial has been constructed. But hang on a minute. The American government wants us to believe that Hani Hanjour managed to pull off an incredible 270 degree turn at 400mph to hit a) the strongest side of the Pentagon due to renovations,
the side with the least people in it and c) the opposite side to where Donald Rumsfield’s office was. Is any terrorist as unlucky as that?
If Flight 77 did hit the Pentagon, why don’t the photographs of the rubble show seats, pieces of luggage or anything that looks remotely like a plane? Why did one witness, sitting in his car outside the Pentagon just before it happened, fail to hear the thunderous noise as a 60 tonne Boeing 757 flew past his car just inches above the grass? Why are there no photographs or film showing Flight 77 colliding with the Pentagon? Where are the witnesses who must have seen the plane hit the Pentagon? And why were the security tapes – the tapes that would show a plane - from The Sheridan Hotel, a gas station and other buildings nearby, confiscated by the FBI before anyone could take a proper look at them?
I have heard two theories to date. Thierry Meyssan, who has since written extensively about the events surrounding the Pentagon attack, believed that it was a drone like a Global Hawk that hit The Pentagon. Dylan Avery, in his documentary Loose Change, claims it was cordite. Both theories have already been researched and featured in 9/11 conspiracy documentaries – Thierry Meyssan’s featured in the documentary 9/11: Painful Deceptions. Whichever one is true, I am now certain that no plane hit The Pentagon on September 11th 2001.
Ok, let’s assume that it was Flight 77 that caused the collision and let’s assume that Hani Hanjour was the pilot. There we have several problems because Hanjour was described by his flight school as a below average pilot and was failing his flight course miserably. ‘He could not fly at all.’ one person said. If this is so, then why were air traffic controllers at Dulles International Airport who were tracking Flight 77 at the time convinced that the plane must have been a military plane because of the skill it was being piloted with? ‘The speed, the manoeuvrability, the way that he turned, we all thought.. .that it was a military plane.’ air traffic controller Danielle O’Brien reported. Is it really believable that Hanjour, a failing below average pilot managed to convince experienced air traffic controllers that he was a military pilot?
If we continue to believe that it was indeed Flight 77, there are other anomalies to be explained, not just the questionable skill of the alleged pilot. Before hitting its target, Flight 77 ripped five light poles out of the ground, yet it retained enough power to slam into the Pentagon. In 2004, a private jet en route to Houston clipped one light pole, tearing off the wing and flinging debris over a hundred yards as it crashed. This should have happened to Flight 77. You’ve probably seen photographs of the damage done to the Pentagon on television or internet. Ever noticed that the lawn outside is practically pristine? Shouldn’t there be, like, scorch marks from the burning jet fuel? While we’re discussing the lawn, is it merely coincidence that aerial photographs of the Pentagon from a few days before the attack show what seems to be a rectangle of lawn lighter than the rest of the grass at nearly the exact place where the plane crashed?
The lawn isn’t the only thing that wasn’t damaged as badly as it should have been. Flight 77 was 155ft long, weighed 60 tonnes and sported two engines made from titanium with a diameter of 9ft. Yet the photographs of the Pentagon show no signs of damage from where the wings, vertical stabilisers and engines would have been. The photographs look like a tube train just shot through the Pentagon. There is also no trace of the plane, no luggage, no passengers, none of the 60 tonnes of scrap that should be there. The official explanation for this was that the heat from the burning jet fuel vaporised the entire plane. Well, that would provide an explanation if this was a movie, but in real life it just happens to be scientifically impossible. We know that the two engines on Flight 77 were made from titanium which has a melting point of 1688 degrees. We know that jet fuel cannot reach temperatures higher than 1120 degrees. Therefore it can’t melt titanium. It’s simple science, but the authorities will have us believe the opposite.
As I have already mentioned, no photograph shows a plane of any description. But one photograph does show a silvery flash. Jet fuel does not, under any circumstances, cause a flash like this. Cordite, however, does. Cordite is used in ammunition and military employees at the time of the collision reported a strong smell of cordite. It’s unlikely they could have confused the smell with the smell of jet fuel which has a completely different smell. Cordite also causes a powerful detonation wave, explaining why many Pentagon employees described being thrown out of their seats and why The Sheridan Hotel 1.6 miles away felt the blast. Cordite could have been used, but Meyssan dug up evidence that suggests a drone such as a Global Hawk had been used. What set Meyssan thinking was the disappearance of the 60 tonnes of metal, luggage and seats that should have been left by the crash of a Boeing 757. In other words – where’s the plane? A Global Hawk would, on the other hand, leave less than two tonnes of scrap. Global Hawks are also very quiet making the claim made by witness Steve Riskus, that he didn’t hear the plane even though it flew straight past his windshield, plausible. It would also provide a reason for the missing bodies as Global Hawks are unmanned.

So what was used to hit the Pentagon? Because it sure as heck wasn’t a plane.
