Ancient flood may have spurred Noah's Ark

A new study suggests that the biblical story of Noah's Ark may have been spurred by a much smaller flood that occured somewhere around 9000 years ago.
The ancient flood that some scientists think gave rise to the Noah story may not have been quite so biblical in proportion, a new study says. Researchers generally agree that, during a warming period about 9,400 years ago, an onrush of seawater from the Mediterranean spurred a connection with the Black Sea, then a largely freshwater lake. That flood turned the lake into a rapidly rising sea."

Flood stories from eras long gone by are nothing special. Consider the flood Gilgamesh faced as an early precursor. Noah's flood is just a fable, people -- a warning to behave ... or else!!!

Nothing special....which is why EVERY culture has one? Because floods happen in every continent? Though I think you'll find not every culture has one.

ACtually the story of "Noah's Ark" Was Actually Stolen By Christians From The "Epic Of Gilgamesh" They Thought It Would Be Great TO Apply It On THEIR Bible

The article itself is in direct contradiction to the title of this thread. What's that about? Harte
