Liquid salt water has been found on the legs of the Mars Phoenix Lander, opening the door to the possibility that liquid water can be found in other locations on the Red Planet.
Salty, liquid water has been detected on a leg of the Mars Phoenix Lander and therefore could be present at other locations on the planet, according to analysis by a group of mission scientists led by a University of Michigan professor. This is the first time liquid water has been detected and photographed outside the Earth."

Either way, they just voided their manufacturer's anti-corrosion warranty. That makes no sense. What are the green droplets?

Either way, they just voided their manufacturer's anti-corrosion warranty. It must have hurt to type that joke because it was painful to read.

this is their plan. letting it drop on us nice and easy. then they'll anounce there was/is life. little by little people will accept it therefore when it's time to meet "them" it's not so scary.

It must have hurt to type that joke because it was painful to read. I just thought I'd spread the pain... I was feeling generous.

cool but will it make the lander rust? I think that is why Mars is red. The soil of Mars is filled with iron oxide so ya rust is a big thing on Mars and it's attacking the lander, see Mars is attacking us ahhhhhhhhhh.

Ladies, gentelemen, we're missing the big question here. Sure, there may be water there. Yes, it significantly improves the odds of there being microbial life. But the most important thing about the water is...can we make a Slurpee out of it?

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Sluuurpee. I love slurpee's and a Mars slurpee i would pay any money for. Im surprised there isn't a lot more excitment about this. Even on the NASA pages it hasn't made front page news. I made sure to contain my enthusiasm so i wouldn't look foolish and im glad i did now. I hope people are excited when an alien insect or something is found.

^^^I'm sure that it hasn't only because of the masses that will be lobbying for Mars-flavoured Slurpees.
