A wooden embalming bed that would have been used to prepare bodies for mummification over 3000 years ago has been unearthed from a tomb in Egypt near Luxor.
Egyptian antiquities authorities on Thursday revealed an ancient pharaonic embalming bed unearthed from a mysterious tomb near Luxor used to prepare bodies for mummification more than 3,000 years ago. Sure they found ambalming materials in the place. It would naturally have them is there was a mummy at some point in time. Was this place sealed? Was there anyway Tomb robbers could have taken the mummy before Zahi got to it? The world may never know...
