One of the most enduring aerial phenomena of recent times is the mystery of the Brown Mountain Lights or North Carolina. The lights have been reported for hundreds of years and have been investigated by the US Geological Survey.
The Brown Mountain Lights are one of the most famous of North Carolina legends. They have been reported a dozen times in newspaper stories. They have been investigated at least twice by the U.S. Geological Survey."

Here is a link to some fascinating studys done trying to find the source of these lights. http://shadowboxent.brinkster.net/brownplasma.html The gist of it is that it's balls of naturally produced PLASMA. A long read, but with a scientific backing. Roger L.

Man i live in the town they are in. The area to see them is really overgrown now so you can't see them
