Ancient supervolcano caused volcanic winter

Scientists investigating the consequences of a supervolcano eruption have concluded that in the past these would have created a short but lethal volcanic winter that would have seriously decreased the human population on Earth at that time.
Previous studies have suggested that Indonesia's Toba supervolcano, when it erupted about 74,000 years ago, triggered a 1,000-year episode of ice sheet advance."

If a supervolcano has been found in Mediterranean, it had to be just lately.
