In an effort to create the ultimate spies scientists have been developing ways to integrate technology with biology through the creation of "cybugs", real insects that can be controlled through the use of implanted devices.
Miniature robots could be good spies, but researchers now are experimenting with insect cyborgs or "cybugs" that could work even better. Scientists can already control the flight of real moths using implanted devices."

Lol heres a huge thought for you. I don't know if you've been to the movies recently but they are having ads for the military and so forth. One of them shows all their recent advancements including the auto flying planes that fly by self. All of these things aren't used to spy on other countries like they portray in the ad, rather our own country, our own people, your own community. You have no privacy, incase you were wondering. We have been the guinea pigs all along in whatever is invented. Right now, somewhere in the US, they are testing drone aircraft and they use them in Pakistan and Afgh... [More]

This does cross some moral issues, they are forcefully controlling bugs. moral issues with bugs? i disagree. it's not like they're doing it with birds or other animals... at least yet... at least that we know of...

We're little creepy crawley bugs who like to fondle. We like to get on our hands and knees . . . And test. Guinea pigs, monkeys, chimpanzees. Orangutangs, porpoises, and cheeetahs. Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

Their still animals, just because they're small doesn't mean that the cant feel pain, or other emotions. haven't you swatted a fly? or killed ants that were wreaking havoc around your house? or anything of that nature? i don't think anyone could claim animal rights for bugs... it's not like killing or harming a dog... it's not even in the same league. do you see my point?

Yeah, sure, I've killed ants before, etc, when defending the home from them, this is different because its taking control of an animal for the sake of espionage.
