Policeman Lonnie Zamora, a witness to one of the most well known UFO incidents, the Socorro incident of 1964, has died of a heart attack. Zamora's testimony has been at the centre of the mystery for over 40 years.
On Monday night, November 2, 2009, 'Lonnie' Zamora, likely North America's most highly respected witness to something that the U.S. Air Force's chief scientific investigator of UFOs eventually admitted was, to use his own term, a "close encounter of the third kind" died of what a Socorro Police spokesman described as a heart attack.

He saw a decent and takeoff to a about hundred feet before it moved off. Two crew were outside examining the landing gear. A good re construction is on youtube. A good way to study the electrical to ether to physical effects of the pressure waves that propel the craft.
