100 year-old whiskey found in Antarctic

Crates of whiskey from 100 years ago have been uncovered below Ernest Shackleton's hut in Antarctica.
A number of crates of Mackinlay's Scotch whisky were found, several more than was expected to be there. The crates would have been brought to the Antarctic by Shackleton during his expedition to cross the continent between 1914 and 1917.Five crates of Scotch whisky and two of brandy have been recovered by a team restoring an Antarctic hut used more than 100 years ago by famed polar explorer Ernest Shackleton.
