Baby in China born with tail

Tail? That wasn't a tail...she's definitely a girl now. I thought it, but I wasn't going to say it!

This isnt all that odd, its happened a few times I recall over the years. De-Evolution isn't quite what I would call it. However IF the evolution thing is true, we once had tails. I would say its just a birth defect at most, but there maybe a small portion of our DNA that still has the instructions for tails embedded init, once in awhile one pops up. I have no idea I'm just theorizing here!!

Actually all people start life off with tails. And a fairly significant portion of humans have the genes for 'tail removal' turned off. You'd maybe expect to see things like this more often in China, because the birth rate is so high.
