New discoveries and excavations may have provided the key to solving the mystery of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
It is now believed that the scrolls could be "the great treasure from the Jerusalem Temple" which held the Ark of the Covenant.
The recent decoding of a cryptic cup, the excavation of ancient Jerusalem tunnels, and other archaeological detective work may help solve one of the great biblical mysteries: Who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls?

Has anyone read The Essene Odyssey by Hugh Schonfied? He has one of most brilliant analysis of the Dead Sea Scrolls messianic Hebraic expectations, later used by JC for his own purpose which ever it was (and it wasn't christianity).

I don't think this is actually solving any of the mystery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, but is actually making their story more complex and unclear.
