Rare Roman suit of armour found

A rare suit of Roman armour has been unearthed at a dig site at the fortress of Caerleon in South Wales.
Only a small number of such suits have ever been found in the UK. The armour was uncovered at one of the country's best known Roman sites along with a host of other artefacts including several weapons.
Archaeologists digging at a site in south Wales have uncovered an entire suit of Roman armour and some weapons. The rare discovery was made during an excavation at the fortress of Caerleon in south Wales, one of Britain's best known Roman sites.
