Head teacher shocks pupils - eats tarantula

Good for him, lots of protien, insect are better for you than meat, though I don't plan on changing over.In any case we eat insects all the time. In ceral there are insects, rat droppings and hair they are not a health threat as long as the level is kept down; impossible to get rid of all of it. Also in peanut butter, I read that each table spoon has at least the remains of one insect......yummmmmmmmmmmmy.....now where is my steak. doug

I know I shouldn't be grossed out by it, because I eat shellfish for example, which are really underwater insects, but really big ones. Still, that doesn't seem right. You mean it is wrong?

i was afraid he had eaten it whole, where most are not poisones to humans their hairs could choke you and cause other problems.

There is no way I would ever do that, I wouldn't even touch one. *Shudders* I don't like being in the same room with one. But if it's for charity, I guess... Still couldn't he hate eaten a cricket or a bug or something.
