For afterburners , you need to be a little more flexible... WOW!!!! (and that is an understatement) Not to hijack the thread but I cant help but post this one... X-1 model separates at about 50 seconds in, the operator "hits the juice" at about 1:15.

DP , this is all your fault.....I will go make a topic for this in the general off topic area tonight....look for it I mentioned " FPV " flying , first person view , and how anyone can do this , and easily put led's on the plane and fly at night ( will post those in the new topic tonight).....Along with the FPV , you can also get as I said GPS instruments that will run the plane by themselves.Set a flight path in your computer , and let her fly , film away...You can switch over to human controls at anytime....The hobby is amazing....... Yeah, right. I use the "Normal Person Method" to judge distance an aircraft is at. It works like this.... Really far away. Far away. Not far away. Pretty close. Close. Way too close. Run away! I'm not even sure I'm THAT accurate with it heh
