Laser camera takes photos around corners

A new camera has been developed that is able to take pictures around corners by using lasers.
A high-intensity burst of laser light illuminates the area and the camera then picks up the small amount of light that bounces back, it is believed the system could prove invaluable in search and rescue scenarios.
A camera that can shoot around corners has been developed by US scientists. The prototype uses an ultra-short high-intensity burst of laser light to illuminate a scene.
