One of the first ever humanoid robots has been revived after being stored in a garage for 45 years.
Former RAF officer Tony Sale who is now 89 built the robot in 1950 for only £15 with scrap metal from a Wellington bomber, unfortunately however early computers were too crude to do it justice and it soon ended up gathering dust.
One of Britain's first humanoid robots has been resurrected after being found in a garage where it had been stored for the last 45 years.

....Sadly computers were too crude and big to give George memory and intelligence so he was packed away in a garage in Bedford and left to gather dust... Sadly, his brother Tony - who suffered from the same fundamental drawbacks - became Prime Minister, and now we are all living in a garage. meow purr

"He was left to languish until I found him again in my garage, where he hadn't been touched for 45 years." I hope he doesnt mean he found him by accident or anything, because then the question would be how the hell do you lose a 6 ft robot :S.
