Who says the only medium for a great masterpiece is oil and canvass ?
After doing 800 hours worth of laundry a Northern Michigan woman was able to provide her own twist on one of the greatest masterpieces in the world, Leonardo Da Vinci's "The Last Supper" made entirely out of lint. The finished piece is so impressive that Ripley's Believe It or Not! is looking to put it on display in one of their museums.
Laura Bell of Roscommon collected lint from her dryer and fashioned it into a 14-foot-long, 4-foot tall reproduction of the Italian Renaissance painter's masterpiece.

I love this story! I just wonder how she got the idea in the first place... I don't think of making art when I'm doing my laundry. This woman is just wired differently and she's very creative. I would love to see this work...I wonder which museum location they will put it in?

Perhaps she started by seeing Jesus in a handful of her unmodified regular dryer lint and extrapolated from there...

Perhaps she started by seeing Jesus in a handful of her unmodified regular dryer lint and extrapolated from there... My guess is she used imagination and creativity.

Very industrious, I commend her hard work, doesn't look bad considering it's made of fluff!

It's pretty interesting how she made the character on the left side of Jesus look. John or Mary? Leonardo used a special technique to hide clues in plain sight. My last supper section blog Holding baby? itsjustlife.com
