Man irons shirt on M1 motorway

In a bizarre scene this week a man in a dressing gown ironed clothes in the middle of the motorway.
Its part of a new craze sweeping the nation known as "extreme ironing", the act of pressing clothes in an adventurous location. The official website states that it is "the latest danger sport that combines the thrills of an extreme outdoor activity with the satisfaction of a well-pressed shirt."Drivers heading northbound on the M1 may have been left bewildered after spotting a man in his dressing gown ironing a shirt on a closed lane of the motorway.
