Former heavyweight boxing champion Nikolai Valuev is to mount an expedition in search of the creature.
Sightings of a strange hominid creature known as the Kuzbass Bigfoot have been reported in the Kuzbass region of southern Siberia for years. "I would like to see firsthand what is going on," Valuev has said. The last known traces of the creature were found in 2005 when hunters discovered and photographed a series of large footprints in the snow.
The beast has been spotted dozens of times in the Kuzbass region of southern Siberia and has become something of a tourist attraction in the local area, with hotels and restaurants naming themselves after it. The mystery creature even has its own Twitter account, presumably set up by some bright spark at the local tourist board.

I owned a Yeti for a few years. Had to sell her when I lost my jerb. I miss jumping on her back and flying through the trees. . She was solid chrome and polished aluminum except the carbon fiber and rubber. Best mtb I ever owned.

I spot a Yeti every morning just outside my house. It is dark brown and stands on all fours. I have some quality pics of it if anyone is interested. It is 100% genuine and will stand up under any scrutiny. It is thought to originate from the area around Mladá Boleslav in Czech Republic (along with the other successful Skodas). Kind of sounds like a brown bear, or grizzly? I was under the impression that Yeti's were similar to those Wampa creatures from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
