Nicolas Cage has been likened to a man in an old civil war photograph taken in 1870.
Antiques dealer Jack Mord hit headlines when he posted an old civil war era photograph of a man who looks extremely similar to actor Nicolas Cage. Mord claims that the old photograph is actually Cage himself and that he is in fact a vampire who is able to reinvent himself every few decades. The photograph was being offered for sale on eBay with a staggering price tag of $1 million before it was unsurprisingly removed.
Cage has starred in “Vampire’s Kiss” and played a demonic role in “Ghost Rider. ” For most, his connection to the bloodsucking species ends there. Not so for Jack Mord, an antiques dealer who got the rumor mill cooking when he posted a photograph for sale on eBay of a man he says is from Bristol, Tenn. , around 1870, and he says can be no one else but Cage.
He is a member of the Church of Scientology, which believes in reincarnation and asks some members to sign one billion year contracts of service. And one photograph collector in Ontario, Canada, claims he has found a picture of John Travolta from a previous incarnation in 1860. The 150-year-old photo of a man who looks remarkably like Travolta has been put up for sale on eBay. Well, Keanu Reeves is apparently a vampire too: So maybe vampires are just naturally bad at acting. But good at blood sucking. My mind went to exactly that when I heard this Nicholas Cage stuff. I think it presents a better case.
But seriously, the Cage photo is pretty obviously a bad photoshop. The face is full front, while the rest of the head is slighly at an angle. I thought the exact same thing when I first saw the photo. I never listen to the media. They make a big hype over absolutely nothing.
There is already a thread about Cage's look-alikes: http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=214397&pid=4060739&st=0entry4060739 And what do you think about the photos of Gene Wilder I posted in that thread? . This is easily explained. A few years from now, Nicolas Cage has a facelift which restores a youthful appearance. He then goes back in time to 60's or 70's, kills Gene Wilder and then assumes Wilder's identity so that he can make more movies.
LOL, but I hope he also does his best to be funny. I laughed my ass off when I watched "Young Frankenstein" or other movies where Gene played together with Richard Pryor. Cage is as funny as my bills are.
Before the owner of this photgraph tried to get it sold, he should have had it analyized by facial recogniation software. The computer can analyize it carefully and then match it up with a modern photo. It then gives a percentage of how close it is to the modern photo. The advanage of this system is that their is no conflict or argument about the results.
