Can we communicate with the dead ?

Its a question that has gripped philosophers for thousands of years - can we really talk to the dead ?
Salon owner Nina De Santo believes so. She'd been closing up shop one winter's nght when her friend Michael turned up at the door. He told her that he wished to thank her for everything she'd done to help him since his wife had divorced him and he'd lost custody of his children. The following day one of Nina's co-workers phoned her up to give her some bad news, Michael had been found dead after committing suicide - at least nine hours before he walked in to her shop the previous evening.
Nina De Santo was about to close her New Jersey hair salon one winter's night when she saw him standing outside the shop's glass front door. It was Michael. He was a soft-spoken customer who'd been going through a brutal patch in his life. His wife had divorced him after having an affair with his stepbrother, and he had lost custody of his boy and girl in the ensuing battle.

I believe that she have seen him but I think a little less that he spoke.I listened to several recordings of séances where the ghost ' spoke ' and the voice was so distorted as to shudder(they can apparently make sounds that mimic the voice but only with enormous efforts).think a moment ...the one that appeared was already dead and could not of course have a vocal apparatus therefore consequently couldn't get talking as if nothing happened (with normal voice I mean).unless he have communicated with telepathy who knows ...

We all find comfort in our own way. I find mine here: Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 The dead know nothing and communicate with no one.

Believing 100% on science, or waiting for evidence to back something up, is like believing 100% in your government. They're not going to agree on the same thing. They're not always going to tell the truth. They're not always going to have the answers. The only way you can live a life with an open mind, is when you come across something like this, is say to yourself "I may not have seen any concrete facts, I may not believe what people tell me, but until it's 100% proven fake, then it's worth keeping open about." Exactly. Think for yourself.

Ghosts cannot be verified by science if they are supernatural phenomenon. It would be pointless to try to do so, unless the ghosts have some basis in physical reality.

The evidence is just not there at all, the human race is crazier then a tree full of monkeys and so are capable of anything from hallucinations,mistaken surroundings to split personalities to schizophrenia to out right lies. They make for nice stories but in the end they are just that. When the scientific method is used we allways end up with nothing? If any of this was true all these entertaining ghost hunters everywhere would have something concrete by now. Perhaps the reason ghosts are associated with cemeteries even if, as others stated that would be the last place they would go, is perhaps because the living are creating the phenomena? Also other cultures besides American associate ghosts/spirits with cemeteries. Day of the Dead celebrations and the Christian expectation of souls rising from where they are buried are just two examples.

Well in March 2008 I was working at Buckeyed Check Cashing in Arizona. When I got off the bus, I was engulfed in an uncontrolable wave of sadness. My boss asked me what happened, and so I told him my mother died. Since my boss was also my roommate he caught me talking to my mom. So I told him that it was my adoptive mom that I was talking to and even confirmed it on speaker phone. Last years in February I decide to go hunt my real mom down, I've never seen a picture of her. My Brother convinced me to comment on that video because his wife just found his body. He didn't speak to me I never heard his voice, but I was compelled to do it by him (please read the lyrics). I have no reason to lie, its possible for the dead to contact us. Though they do go some where, I have a sense ofor contentment about the whole thing. So I think he left. As a caregiver for over 30 years, I have some experiences that would point to an existence after death....most caregivers have stories. Peace mark
