Amityville house resident speaks of haunting

Christopher Lutz has spoken out about his experiences living in the infamous Amitville Horror house.
Lutz has claimed that the events said to have occured there in 1975 depicted in the two movies are far from accurate. "An apparition manifested just outside my bedroom door. It scared the crap out of me as a little kid," he said. Lutz was also keen to dispell the idea that the haunting was a result of the murders that took place in the house, instead claiming that his grandfather had been dabbling in the occult and reciting demonic names after they'd moved in.
A valley man spent decades trying to escape the ghosts of his past. He lived in one of America's most famous haunted houses -- in Amityville, New York.
