The UFO Phenomenon

UFOs filmed over Scotland

A Scottish Mountain Rescue team filmed two strange lights zooming through thick fog in Scotland.
A video camera mounted to their vehicle's dashboard picked up the lights while driving through thick fog and snow. UFO expert Ron Halliday described the footage as 'baffling'. The footage bears a resemblance to similar sightings in Russia last year.
The YouTube clip, which is thought to have been filmed on a dashboard-mounted camera by a Scottish Mountain Rescue team, show the light orbs accelerate over a field, just as an oncoming car passes the camera. The lights in the sky then suddenly disappear.

Obvious lens flare reflection. Didnt happen with the first vehicle probably because it's headlights didn't have as wide of an angle.

This appears to be a reflection of some type. I'm always curious when folks dismiss something as ball lightning though. Can anyone explain ball lightning? Sorry, scientists still cant explain what causes it, or even exactly what it is. Two New Zealand scientists, John Abrahamson and James Dinniss, believe ball lightning consists of "fluffy balls of burning silicon created by ordinary fork lightning striking the earth." http://www.skepdic.com/balllightning.html

There are internet communities popping up where users share these videos to discredit and shame bad drivers, or boast about their own driving. Whilst out last week I saw a motor-cyclist using one of these, I tried catching up to give him a wave bu... [More]

the comment on the youtube video states its reflection from the second car as it is at a different angle to the first car that passes ..... Agreed yes it is at a different angle however white car lights but blue lights in reflection ?????? if some pictures (inside and outside facing the car/van/truck) or a video of the car/van/truck is provided test's can be done to see if this can be replicated to the exact same (white car lights but blue lights in reflection i would then believe its a hoax... i would also like to say I believe we are not the only beings in this universe we are a 1 in a billi... Since the lights appear and disappear at the same time the car passes; I would have to say a reflection. Blue...numerous reasons; main one being that some cameras alter the exposure for bright lights, you can see the same 'blue-ness' as the first car passes also. On the other hand...the car also has its fog lights on, so there should be four lights (no Picard jokes) if we go with the reflection hypothesis.

I think the fog lights just get lost as they blend in with the main beam. If you watch the approaching car you cannot notice the fog lights until it gets close enough to the camera, distance...
