The Royal Armouries museum obtained the box containing everything you need to fight vampires.
The box is believed to be from the 19th century but the contents are from the early 20th century, it is thought that the kit was put together to help capitalize on the popularity of Bram Stoker's Dracula novel. Inside is a crucifix, a pistol, several wooden stakes, a mallet and a prayer book, among other things.
"These kits are often said to have been made as novelties in the Victorian period, but research shows they are later than this," said the museum's firearms curator. "We've yet to establish a firm date for our kit, but we know it will attract a lot of interest from our museum visitors."
The 19th Century box, containing a crucifix, pistols, wooden stakes and a mallet, was sold for £7,500 at an auction in North Yorkshire on Friday.
